A 12 year old girl from Pennsylvania made this slideshow on Smilebox. Over the course of her family's journey to adopt from Liberia, God has been giving her a heart for helping orphans! To quote her, "It is a ton of fun knowing that you are giving the children a brighter future!" Her slideshow will be shown to her whole church on Sunday the 29th! This girl from Pennsylvania wants to encourage other kids to do fundraisers to help orphans. She suggests Threads of Hope where you donate 40 % of sales to a project of your choice. Project Mission
This website has been created to share the plans for a new orphanage/school in Liberia, for Addy's Hope Adoption Agency. We will be building a 2 story 40ft X 60ft pre-fabricated steel building with the capacity to sleep around 100 children and to educate over 150 students. The building will consist of 20 separate rooms, 10 bedrooms and 10 classrooms. Other priorities include a water well, fencing around the property, and sewage system. Kami visited Liberia in January 2008 to present the project plan to HollyAnn Petree, Director of Addy's Hope and research building materials, time frame, costs, logistics, and the needs of the orphans near Monrovia, Liberia.
